Before customizing a free-standing enclosure, provide equipment name/model, external dimensions, internal mounting space, weight, center of gravity, door count/opening direction, and mounting plate/DIN rail requirements. If partitioned installation is needed, provide layout relationships for power, control, communication, and power distribution sections.

For the plinth/base, confirm enclosure anchoring methods, ground foundation, cable entry direction, plinth height, lifting, and transportation requirements. For outdoor installations, specify ambient temperature, humidity, rain, dust, corrosion, drainage, and target IP/NEMA ratings. If fans, filters, air conditioners, heaters, or other thermal management components are required, provide equipment heat dissipation and operating conditions.

For double-door enclosures, specify whether doors share internal space, require a center mullion, need separate sealed compartments, and how cables route between left and right sections. 2D/3D drawings, equipment lists, on-site photos, and existing enclosure samples help verify structure, quotation, and manufacturing scope.
