The interface between the wall and enclosure frame affects mounting stability, aesthetic finish, and protection. After installation, noticeable gaps, uneven surfaces, or shrinking fill materials can cause enclosure loosening, door frame deformation, or water and dust ingress along the edges.
Mounting methods should match the wall material and enclosure structure using suitable fasteners, reinforcing frames, mounting ears, or support structures. For lightweight walls, do not rely solely on thin sheet surfaces; for brick or concrete, ensure expansion anchors, chemical anchors, or other fixings match the substrate. For panel-recessed equipment, consider panel vibration and transport shock.
Interface trims such as flanges, trim strips, sealants, or decorative profiles can be evaluated based on project needs, but they do not replace door gaskets and cable entry protection. In outdoor or damp environments, address in-wall seepage paths, condensation, and thermal insulation rather than just cosmetic gaps.
