Prior to construction, confirm wall openings, structural clearance, mounting height, cable entry direction, fixing methods, and door swing space. Before enclosure installation, verify that the box dimensions, frame, door, locks, mounting plate, cable entries, and grounding terminals match the drawings. Complete enclosure fixing, cabling, and interface checks before wall sealing or finishing.

During acceptance, check flush alignment, full door swing, smooth latching, sufficient wiring and maintenance space, and any deformation from wall pressure. For doors with viewing windows, buttons, displays, and connectors, verify cutout positions, cable slack, and accessory sealing.

For routine maintenance, inspect door frames, gaskets, locks, hinges, cable glands, and wall interfaces periodically. If walls crack, leak, or suffer finish deformation, immediately recheck enclosure fastening and sealing. Assess any new cutouts, expansion modules, or door replacements for impact on recess depth, heat dissipation, service space, and overall IP rating.
